Several African heads of state and government have reacted to the death of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who passed away at the age of 90 years.
His death was announced late Friday by his brother, Cuban President Raúl Castro. Algeria’s President Abdelaziz Bouteflika said Castro’s “death is a great loss for the Algerian people,” andd consequently, announced an official mourning period of eight days that began yesterday on Sunday, for the revolutionary icon.
